A public library project for the Bulgarian Black Sea

24/07/2003 A major public library will be created for the Southern Bulgarian coastal communities. The city of Bourgas will convert and expand a site, which will be used to house approximately 300, 000 volumes. There will be facilities for readers and users to access multimedia products and reference information. At present, this is the first and most major attempt to refresh and revise the provision of public reading, borrowing and information-gathering facilities in Bulgaria after 1989.
